Q&A ยท ChainRadar
Is it safe to paste a wallet address?
Yes, pasting a public wallet address is generally safe. A wallet address is designed to be public so other people and blockchain explorers can see transfers and balances connected to it.
What ChainRadar can see
ChainRadar can read public on-chain information such as visible assets, token transfers, transaction count, activity dates, and public labels. This is similar to what a block explorer can see.
What ChainRadar cannot do
- It cannot move your funds.
- It cannot sign transactions.
- It cannot approve token spending.
- It cannot see your private key or seed phrase.
What you should never enter
Never enter a private key, seed phrase, recovery phrase, exchange password, or two-factor code into a wallet checker. ChainRadar will never ask for these.
